Creation of Parthiv Shivling: A Mitti (Clay) Shivling is carefully made by hand. This Shivling is symbolic of Lord Shiva and represents both the cosmic energy and the material world.
Invocation of Name and Gotra: The puja begins by invoking the name and gotra of the participant. This ensures that the blessings are specifically directed towards the individual, according to Vedic traditions.
Abhishekam with Water and Panchamrit: After the Shivling is created, Jal (water) and Panchamrit (a mixture of milk, yogurt, honey, ghee, and sugar) are poured over the Shivling in a ritualistic manner. The Panchamrit Abhishekam is believed to purify and energize the Shivling, invoking Lord Shiva’s blessings.
Recitation of Mantras: During the Abhishekam, Vedic mantras are chanted to invoke Lord Shiva’s divine presence. The recitation of these mantras creates a connection between the physical world and the divine, allowing positive energy to flow into the participant’s life.
